14-16 February, 2025
Takaka, New Zealand

Join us in beautiful Takaka, Golden Bay New Zealand for a weekend of tunes, songs, great food and seaside rambles with Chris Norman & Rob Zielinski. The workshop is geared primarily to flute, whistle and fiddle players with tunes from Maritime Canada: Cape Breton, Acadian, French Canadian, Old-Time, as well as gems from the Scottish and Irish traditions. Songs, ballads, pipe and whistle tunes will also also be included. Simple system and modern flutes are welcome, as are all instruments, though tunes will be shared primarily via the flute & whistle.  The weekend workshop spans three consecutive days, hosted by Debbie and Mark Pearson at Manuka Essence in Takaka.  Space is limited to 12 participants; advance booking is required.
