The workshop is geared primarily to flute players with tunes from Maritime Canada: Cape Breton, Acadian, French Canadian, Old-Time, as well as gems from the Scottish and Irish traditions. Songs, ballads, pipe and whistle tunes will also also be included. Simple system and modern flutes are welcome.

• Workshops will take place at at Manuka Essence in Takaka, NZ (Golden Bay) thanks to our hosts Debbie & Mark Pearson. We'll send address details after your registration.
• There will be 10 participants max., so please register early.
• Lodging is not included in the registration cost, however some tent camping will be available on-site. Let us know if that's of interest after you've registered, and those spots will go 1st come - 1st serve.
• We'll be providing 2 meals over the weekend prepared from local organic sources.
• Workshops will be taught 'By Ear', with music available by .pdf on-line. Bring a Wi-Fi enabled tablet if you would like to refer to the dots during the class.
