The workshop is geared primarily to flute players with tunes from Maritime Canada: Cape Breton, Acadian, French Canadian, Old-Time, as well as gems from the Scottish and Irish traditions. Songs, ballads, pipe and whistle tunes will also also be included. Simple system and modern flutes are welcome, as are all instruments, however tunes will be shared via flute and whistle.

• Workshops will take place at at Manuka Essence in Takaka, NZ (Golden Bay) thanks to our hosts Debbie & Mark Pearson. We'll send address details after your registration.
• There will be 12 participants max., so please register early.
• Lodging is not included in the registration cost, however some tent & campervan spots will be available on-site at no additional cost. Let us know if that's of interest after you've registered, and those spots will go 1st come - 1st serve.
• We'll be providing 2 meals over the weekend prepared from local organic sources.
• Workshops will be taught 'By Ear', with music available by .pdf on-line. Bring a Wi-Fi enabled tablet if you would like to refer to the dots during the class.
