Jean Michel has created a flute tradition in Brittany drawing his repertoire from the Breton and Gaelic traditions with inspiration from the traditions of oriental flutes of Turkey, Iran, India, China.

Tara comes from Co. Down, Ireland and is one of a group of accomplished flute players who emerged from the Belfast area renowned for the tone and smoothness of her playing.

A renowned flute player and teacher, Paul toured extensively as a member of the Band Beginish and has taught at the Scoil Samhradh Willie Clancy and Scoil Acla (Achill Island) for many years.

Pascal Gemme is a leading light in Quebec’s traditional music scene.Known as much for his original compositions as his fine interpretation of traditional tunes, Pascal is the fiddler, singer and arranger of the band, Genticorum, whose CDs have met with critical acclaim in several countries.
Irish & Old-Time fiddle
comes from Belfast, and learned his early music from local players in Belfast, Antrim and Down, such as Andy Dickson and Gerry McCartney. Later, he and Tara travelled extensively across Ireland, playing and spending time with musicians from many parts of the country, particularly Clare, Cork, Kerry, Donegal and Fermanagh.

Yann Falquet is a very active and creative acoustic guitar player and singer on the Québécois music scene. He has explored many styles of music and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz. Since then, he has developed a personal guitar style for Québec folk music, inspired by the playing of the accompanists of different cultures (Brittany, Scandinavia, Ireland, North America).

Nic Gareiss

Michigan-born dancer, musician, and dance researcher Nic Gareiss has been described by the Irish Times as “the human epitome of the unbearable lightness of being,” and “the most inventive and expressive step dancer on the scene” by the Boston Herald. His work re-imagines movement as a musical practice, recasting dance as medium that appeals to both eyes and ears.

Edel’s musical resume boasts a list of accolades. In 2004, she was awarded the TG4 Young Musician of the Year award. She is a regular performer on Irish National Radio and the BBC and has performed at festivals and in concert halls from North America all the way to Asia with musicians including Jackie Daly, Cherish the Ladies and The Kane Sisters, and the Irish Concertina Ensemble.

Nick Halley is a drummer/percussionist, keyboardist, composer, and conductor. As a drummer and world percussionist, Nick has performed and recorded internationally with a wide range of musicians including American icon James Taylor. Nick is the founder and Artistic Director of the Capella Regalis Men and Boys Choir in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  He is the founder and Director of The King’s Chorus, a choir for members of the King’s and Dalhousie University
