BOXWOOD AUSTRALIA TRADITIONAL MUSIC WEEKEND IN QUEENSCLIFF, VIC
Sea Aires Choir: 04-05 March 2022
Boxwood Australia 2022 offers you the opportunity to participate in the ‘Sea Aires Choir’ led by renowned vocalist and choir director Claire Patti. Repertoire will focus on ancient Irish songs and famous choruses by the baroque composer Henry Purcell. Training in basic vocal techniques and harmonisation will be provided by Claire, who will cater to all levels of experience—including beginners—for both ear-learners and sight-readers. Registration includes four workshops over two days and the opportunity to perform the core repertoire in an exciting live concert accompanied by a chamber orchestra and traditional Irish musicians at Queenscliff Town Hall.

All activities take place at Queenscliff Town Hall, 50 Learmonth Street.

Workshops and the performance will be conducted in accordance with covid-safe practice and advise from DHHS. Given the evolving situation with COVID-19, Boxwood will provide a full refund to those who have paid, but need to subsequently cancel due to restrictions or concerns related to the pandemic.
